Pop is Bella's grandfather. One day, when she was 4, Pop had to pick Bella up at preschool. Bella's mother was giving Pop very long and detailed instructions on where to go and how to get there. After hearing this for a while, Bella said to her mother, "Pop's a smart man. He can figure it out."

Several years ago Ama and Bella were visiting Bella's great grandmother at an assisted living facility. An ambulance arrived bringing a resident back from the hospital. Not wanting to scare Bella, Ama explained how the ambulance staff took great care of this lady and she was happily returning to her home. Bella said, "Then why did they put her in the trunk"? |
